A youthful passion for dance gave Meaghan an early appreciation for the balance and calm achieved through a good workout. As a graduate student in Lubbock, Meaghan’s need for stress-management combined merged with her creative impulses into a dedicated yoga practice.
“As I pursued yoga regularly, I became more calm, balanced and confident,” says Meaghan. “Yoga became a part of my daily routine, and when I moved to Fort Worth I decided to advance my practice and become a teacher.”
The following summer saw Meaghan’s graduation from the Brooke Hamblet Teacher Training School. For her, the reward from teaching comes when a student’s physical strength blossoms, then carries over into other areas of life.
Meaghan’s teaching style emphasizes balance and strength, and she challenges her students to achieve natural breakthroughs through consistency and dedication.
“There is nothing more rewarding than helping people learn about their bodies and appreciate their personal strength,” says Meaghan. “Yoga has certainly helped me push to conquer my own fears.”
